Alex and Jed were in from Louisiana visiting family in the Columbus area and had me photograph a maternity session for them. It was early in July, when we were having the same kind of weather we’re having now – and which they were very familiar with in Lousiana – hot and muggy! But we tooled around old Dublin and made the best of it, along with making some lovely pictures celebrating the upcoming birth of their first child.
Every year for years I’ve spent time with Lesley and Matt and their energetic and adorable little boys. We got together again here recently so I could photograph them hanging out in their yard while the boys ran and played. It’s amazing to see how fast they’re growing up and how their personalities are blossoming. Have a look.
My yearly photo session with Michelle and Mike and their family took place in June this year instead of February or March, when we usually meet up, so we were able to take advantage of the nice weather and go outside, even though it was like 1000% humidity out there. They also moved to the Dayton area, so it was nice to see their new digs (gorgeous!) and photograph them in their new forever home. The little ones haven’t changed – a little older, a little bigger – but still with their very distinctive – and often hilarious – personalities. It was so much fun hanging out with them; they made me feel energized the whole rest of the day!
