I was so happy to be able to work with this wonderful family again, who were gathered at the Newman Center on the OSU campus for baby Gabe’s christening. I photographed Betsy and Craig’s wedding reception a few weeks back, and loved being able to work with Tim and Eliza and seeing all the familiar faces at Gabe’s baptism! What a cute little baby! I love me a surprise proposal! Anthony called me a couple days before he was to propose to his girlfriend, Gina, so we made a plan for me to hide out at Scioto Mile and capture all the action! It was lovely, and there were tears, and she said yes! Have a look:
Since 2009, I have photographed Michelle and Mike’s wedding, at least three maternity sessions, and family sessions year after year. I know I say this frequently, but I love seeing their kiddos grow up. We were talking about this at our last session a couple weeks ago, about how old Taylor was at the wedding – fourth or fifth grade – and how she is now about ready to graduate from college. (Oh yeah, I did her senior pictures too!) It’s incredible how time flies, but most incredible is having a photographic record of every year for everyone to look back on over time. I’m incredibly lucky to be able to make these photos for them every year and look forward to the years to come!
